Providing appropriate workwear is an important way in which you as an employer can help to keep your team safe and comfortable at work.

Appropriate workwear means clothing that is suitable for the work tasks they are required to perform, as well as that which will help them maintain a comfortable body temperature in changeable or extreme weather conditions.

Whether the conditions outside are warm or cold, wet or dry, it’s important your teams are properly equipped at all times. But in order to ensure this they – and you as their employer – need to prepare for the changing seasons ahead of time.

Assessing your anticipated seasonal needs through discussions with your existing staff and consideration of any recent or planned new hires will enable you to place orders with suppliers for new seasonal items in a timely fashion. This, in turn, means your team will have everything they need well in advance and you won’t get caught out by any stock shortages.

Summer workwear
