Womens safety boots: Introducing our range

When it comes to high quality, long-lasting and comfortable women’s safety boots, there isn’t exactly a lot of choice out there.

Many manufacturers simply don’t make safety boots specifically designed for women’s feet, despite the science showing they are different from men’s feet. They might offer different colour schemes and smaller sizes in what they claim is a ‘unisex’ design, but these don’t represent the safest, most comfortable option for most female workers.

Womens safety boots: What does the science say?

Women and men walk differently, with women tending to take shorter, more frequent strides. Women are also more likely to pronate their feet (roll them inwards) as they walk.

Their feet are also a different shape. Women’s feet tend to be narrower, with higher arches, a lower instep, a more curved inside line, a shallower big toe, and a heel slimmer in relation to the width of the ball of their foot. Their Achilles tendons also tend to be smaller and higher.
