Lightweight safety trainers for all
Featuring 15 different models of ultra-light safety trainers, the Red Leve range has been designed to cater for all seasons and workplace environments, offering year-round comfort and protection for workers across a wide range of professions.
The use of innovative, extra-lightweight materials including a new generation PU compound in the sole and tread, an anti-puncture system made from needle-punched felt fabric, and a super lightweight polyurethane compound footbed results in safety trainers that facilitate motion, reducing the strain on the muscles and joints of the lower body during the working day.

The science behind U-Power’s lightweight safety trainers
Protective toe cap, high-grip tread, an anti-puncture insole – theoretically, all these protective features of safety trainers should add weight and bulk but, with U-Power’s Red Leve range, this is not the case.
Extra lightweighting doesn’t mean the company has compromised on the levels of protection offered against workplace hazards though. Rather, it comes as the result of the company’s designers using a series of ultra-lightweight, high-performance materials in innovative new ways.
While some manufacturers may achieve lighter footwear by taking away material, therefore compromising safety and quality, the lightweighting achieved in the Red Leve range is the result of ongoing research into and development of new cutting-edge technology capable of guaranteeing the same performance as traditional materials.
Key features include:
- A lighter, more elastic, abrasion-resistant, oil-proof, non-slip, anti-static BASF sole made of ultra-light PU polymer, with cleats that dissipate and return energy, reducing the mechanical stress on the body created by resistance to the ground during wear.
- An all-new Save & Flex Air anti-puncture system, consisting of an extra-light, metal-free perforation-proof insole. Made from needle-punched felt fabric it is lighter than a traditional textile insole, while still guaranteeing protection for the entire sole of the foot.
- A new generation, super-lightweight anatomical insole made from U-Power Original polyurethane and incorporating a conductive fabric made of stainless steel wires. Soft, comfortable and breathable, it supports the foot in its anatomical position so that the weight of the wearer and any load carried is evenly distributed across the entire foot and heel.
In addition to these new lightweighting innovations, the Red Leve range also incorporates existing U-Power technologies such as its renowned Airtoe® Aluminium toe cap and ultra-breathable WingTex air tunnel lining, which allows for greater comfort and better foot hygiene.

U-POWER LOGAN LIGHTWEIGHT SAFETY TRAINERS
These S3 SRC CI ESD-rated safety trainers with grey detailing have a hard-wearing, water repellent Putek star upper, an anti-abrasion scuff cap, and a Wingtex breathable lining. Other features include an aluminium toe cap, composite midsole and an anti-slip sole. Available in sizes 35 to 48.

These S3 SRC CI ESD-rated safety trainers are made to the same specification as the Logan model, but come with yellow detailing instead of grey. Available in sizes 35 to 48.

These S1P SRC ESD-rated women’s safety trainers with fuchsia detailing come with a breathable nylon upper, aluminium toe protection and an anti-abrasion scuff cap. Available in sizes 35 to 42.
